Cover Story: UKHSA hosted the ESPAUR (English Surveillance Programme for Antimicrobial Utilisation and Resistance) 2021–22 report interactive webinar on Wednesday 23 November 2022. ESPAUR reports on England’s national data on antimicrobial prescribing and resistance, antimicrobial stewardship implementation, awareness activities and stakeholder engagement. The recording is available here.
The Sixth Antibiotic Guardian Shared Learning Event and Awards will take place on 2 May 2023 to celebrate the work of healthcare professionals across the UK and globally in tackling antimicrobial resistance. These awards form part of the ongoing Antibiotic Guardian campaign, led by the UK Health Security Agency. Following peer review, shortlisted entries were invited to submit abstracts of their entries. Winners will be announced at the event.
