In the original publication [], there were several mistakes in the main content:
Error in Figure
In Figure 1, in the Conceptual Model published, the directionality of Hypotheses H6 and H7 was incorrectly stated to be positive in the hypothesized relationships. The corrected Figure 1 appears below.
Correction: The directionality of Hypotheses H6 and H7 in Figure 1 has been revised from positive (H6 (+), H7 (+)) to negative (H6 (−), H7 (−)) to accurately reflect the hypothesized relationships.
In the original publication, there were mistakes in Figures 3 and 4 as published. The figures incorrectly depicted the moderating effect of cognitive diversity (KD) on the relationship between cultural/emotional intelligence (CQ/EI) and emotional exhaustion (EEX), showing a strengthening rather than a weakening effect. This visual error was due to the incorrect plotting of interaction terms and/or the mislabeling of moderator levels. The corrected Figure 3 and Figure 4 appear below.
Error in Table
In the original publication, there was a mistake in Table 2. Some correlation values were inaccurately reported because they were based on the preliminary dataset. The corrected version of Table 2 appears below. The red font in the table indicates the corrected values.
In the original publication, there was a mistake in Table 5. This mistake resulted from the inadvertent use of the preliminary dataset instead of the cleaned and transformed dataset prepared for analysis, which led to inaccuracies in the reported statistical values. The corrected version of Table 5 appears below. The red font in the table indicates the corrected values.
Text Correction
We kindly request the correction of the following sections of text:
1. The word “alleviates” should be revised to “reduces” in the sentence under Hypothesis 6 (Page 6, Line 2) to better reflect the intended meaning.
2. Page 9, Results and Discussion, Section 4.1: Descriptive Statistics and Correlation of the Study Constructs (Lines 5–11)
The revised paragraph should read as follows:
The results confirmed that CQ had a significant positive correlation with EI (0.245), POS (0.349), KD (0.493), EEX (−0.526), ER (0.315), and TP (0.351). POS also exhibited moderate correlations with KD (0.474) and EEX (−0.538), implying that changes in POS lead to significant changes in KD and EEX. Finally, ER revealed significant correlations with all variables, particularly with EI (0.448) and EEX (−0.482). These findings reinforce the idea that error reduction is significantly associated with all variables.
3. Section 4.4.3—The Moderation Analysis (Page 11)
Original text in the paragraph:
The findings revealed KD strengthens the positive relationship between CQ and EEX and EI and EEX.
Corrected Text:
The findings revealed that cognitive diversity (KD) weakens the negative relationships between CQ and EEX, and between EI and EEX.
4. Section 5.4—The Moderating Effects of Cognitive Diversity (Page 13) should be updated for consistency with Section 4.4.3
Original Text:
This study’s results indicate that cognitive diversity (KD) strengthens the positive relationships between cultural intelligence (CQ) and emotional exhaustion (EEX), as well as between emotional intelligence (EI) and EEX.
Corrected Text:
This study’s results indicate that cognitive diversity (KD) weakens the negative relationships between cultural intelligence (CQ) and emotional exhaustion (EEX), as well as between emotional intelligence (EI) and EEX.
The authors state that their scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
