Fibers, Volume 10, Issue 9

September 2022 - 11 articles

Cover Story: Various fibers can be used to create composite materials with various combinations of “functionalizing nanoobjects” in the form of metal nanoparticles or enzymes that catalyze the suppression of bacterial quorum and antimicrobial substances that stabilize these enzymes. This approach makes it possible to expand the range of applications of such composite materials and create new chemical-bioprotective and dressing materials. The use of biodegradable polymer fibrous materials is attractive due to its potential eco-friendliness. View this paper
