The journal Coatings retracts the article titled “Study on the Alloying Elements Competition Mechanism of Nix1Crx2Cox3Al15Ti10 Alloys Based on High-Throughput Computation and Numerical Analysis” [1], which is cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding an overlap between this publication [1] and earlier articles [2,3] produced by a common author group.
Adhering to our complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and the Editorial Board, which confirmed a significant overlap between these publications [1,2]. Given the extent of the overlap, the Editorial Board considers this publication to be redundant and has decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Coatings.
The author Yu Liu has not agreed to this retraction. Other authors have not provided a comment on this retraction.
