The Journal retracts the article “Insight into the Potential Antioxidant and Antidiabetic Activities of Scrolled Kaolinite Single Sheet (KNs) and Its Composite with ZnO Nanoparticles: Synergetic Studies” [1] cited above.
Following publication, the authors contacted the Editorial Office in order to request an amendment to the publication to address an issue with Figure 2 presented in this article [1].
In accordance with standard journal procedures, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board conducted an investigation with the full cooperation of the authors. Following an evaluation of the authors’ comments and additional material, the Editorial Board were unable to confirm the accuracy of Figure 2 and identified additional concerns relating to the validity of Figure 3. Consequently, the Editorial Board has lost confidence in the reliability of the findings and, in agreement with the authors, have decided to retract this publication [1], in accordance with MDPI’s retraction policy.
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Minerals.
The authors agree to the retraction of this article and support this action in the interest of maintaining the integrity of the scientific record. The authors apologize for any inconvenience caused to the journal and its readers.
