As the digital economy advances, information infrastructure has become a core engine for driving green economic transition and optimizing sustainable land systems. However, its heterogeneous governance effects on different types of pollutants and spatial spillover mechanisms remain insufficiently explored. This study draws on the theoretical framework of the dynamic game between scale and technique effects. It utilizes the PSTR model and the SDM to systematically investigate the nonlinear and spatial synergistic impacts of information infrastructure. The analysis covers aggregate information infrastructure and its structural subdivisions, including traditional and new information infrastructure. To ensure empirical rigor, this study introduces a Bartik instrumental variable constructed via the shift share approach and thoroughly eliminates endogeneity interference through the Control Function Approach and a core variable lagging strategy. The empirical research reveals three core findings. Firstly, after crossing the initial extensive scale effect dominated by physical construction, the profound technique effect dominates long-term environmental governance. Secondly, new-type information infrastructure demonstrates a superior capacity for long-term environmental governance and land use efficiency compared to traditional telecommunications. Finally, spatial spillover analysis indicates that although PM2.5 exhibits strong cross-regional physical contagion, the current environmental dividends of information infrastructure remain highly localized due to regional administrative data silos, lacking significant cross-regional synergistic spillover effects. This study provides a solid empirical basis for formulating differentiated digital spatial governance frameworks, breaking interprovincial data factor barriers, and preventing the physical expansion trap of traditional infrastructure. Collaborative operation of heterogeneous UAV swarms in dense urban environments remains challenging because right-of-way allocation is often rigid, frequent replanning consumes considerable onboard computation, and paths obtained by purely mathematical optimization may not be easy to execute under real dynamic constraints. This paper presents a physics-informed, event-triggered path planning and control framework, termed Physics-Informed SSA-MPC. Its global search layer is built on the Sparrow Search Algorithm (SSA), whose search mechanism originates from sparrow foraging and anti-predatory behaviors. On this basis, the method combines an event-triggered Stackelberg game for airspace coordination, a physically constrained SSA for global path generation, and an event-triggered MPC for local replanning. Battery State of Health (SoH) is incorporated into the adaptive search process, while Lévy-flight updates are limited by the maximum available acceleration to avoid infeasible path mutations. Local replanning is activated only when predicted safety ellipsoids overlap or tracking errors exceed prescribed thresholds, which helps reduce redundant computation. Simulations in a digital twin of Lujiazui, Shanghai, show that the proposed method shortens path length by 3.3% to 14.9%, reduces obstacle-avoidance latency to 45 ms, and achieves a 100% engineering feasibility rate. During the critical period of agricultural green transformation, clarifying the evolutionary logic of farmers’ green production behavior under a multi-stakeholder framework provides significant insights for implementing “Dual Carbon” goals, establishing long-term mechanisms for high-quality agricultural development, and resolving deep-seated contradictions in agricultural non-point source pollution. Based on the social co-governance and public participation framework, this paper constructs a tripartite evolutionary game model involving government departments, farmer groups, and the general public, grounded in cost–benefit analysis, social governance friction, and evolutionary game theory. Through simulation, the study explores the equilibrium states and the specific impacts of varying parameter values on stable points. The findings reveal that: (1) The “interest price scissors” (benefit disparity) between green and conventional production is the key determinant of farmers’ strategic equilibrium. Once this structural contradiction is resolved, green production becomes the optimal strategy. (2) Farmers are highly sensitive to marginal cost–benefit fluctuations, leading to a sequential behavioral cascade: farmers retreat first, followed by the government, and finally the public. (3) Public participation cost is the pivotal variable for activating the co-governance mechanism, and the application of digital governance tools determines the time required to reach equilibrium. (4) A “Success Paradox” exists in government regulation; incentive mechanisms must be adjusted promptly after initial success. (5) Integrated policy combinations outperform single instruments; breaking the “locked-in” state requires a policy shock of sufficient intensity. This research offers a theoretical basis and policy enlightenment for optimizing the social co-governance landscape and promoting sustainable agricultural modernization. Full article

Classical Game Theory underpins much of AI and multi-agent research, but hybrid Human–AI systems require a framework in which execution authority can alternate within a digital environment. We introduce Neo-Game Theory, an extension of Classical Game Theory for hybrid Human–AI coalitions operating under Virtual Nature, the algorithmic analogue of classical (physical) Nature. The framework combines a lexicographic coalition utility with a delegation rule based on the Jensen–Shannon divergence between Human and AI policies. Two thresholds define agreement, contextual, and disagreement regions. In the contextual region, execution follows a scenario-specific rule. Apart from the theory, in this paper we develop the first regime, Human arbitration, in which the AI learns by observation and frequency matching while the Human retains final execution authority. We establish the axiomatic basis of the framework and characterize a frequency-convergence equilibrium, providing the foundation for later extensions and computational validation. Full article

Background: The prevalence of mental disorders, particularly anxiety and depression, has been increasing and is becoming a major public health concern in Portugal. Digital mental health solutions offer scalable and accessible tools for monitoring and managing mental health. ‘P5 Mental Health’ has been created as a platform to assess and monitor symptoms of anxiety and depression in the Portuguese population, and to offer strategies to promote well-being to support users. Objective: This study aims to (1) describe the P5 Mental Health platform, (2) evaluate its feasibility as a digital mental health monitoring tool, and (3) analyze trends in the prevalence and severity of anxiety and depression symptoms over a four-year period, particularly in response to major societal stressors. Methods: Between September 2020 and September 2024, 46,032 responses were collected from platform users. Anxiety and depression symptoms were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) and Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) scales. Longitudinal trends were analyzed across four time periods. Welch’s ANOVA and Games–Howell post hoc tests were conducted to compare symptom severity across time, and ordinal logistic regression was used to examine the impact of time on symptom progression. Results: Anxiety and depression symptoms increased between 2020 and 2022, stabilized thereafter, and showed a slight decline in 2024. The proportion of users reporting moderate to severe anxiety (GAD-7 ≥ 10) rose from 30.87% in September 2020 to 66.30% in June 2022. Similarly, the prevalence of moderate to severe depressive symptoms (PHQ-9 ≥ 10) rose from 3.62% in March 2021 to 51.54% in August 2021. Despite a small decrease in 2024, symptom levels remained significantly higher than baseline levels recorded at the beginning (p < 0.001). A strong positive correlation was found between anxiety and depression symptoms (r = 0.739, p < 0.001), underscoring their high comorbidity. Conclusions: This study demonstrates the feasibility of the P5 Mental Health platform as a real-time mental health monitoring tool, particularly during periods of heightened social and economic stress. The findings highlight the need for sustained digital mental health interventions beyond crisis periods to ensure long-term engagement; however, future improvements should focus on increasing user engagement and adding personalized features to ensure long-term mental health management. Background/Objectives: Periodontitis represents a significant global health burden, yet preventive health literacy remains critically low among emerging adults—a developmental stage where lifelong health behaviors crystallize. This study evaluated the effectiveness of the GUM (an acronym of Gum Understanding Mission) game, an interactive gamified digital tool incorporating AI-informed or manual feedback, for improving periodontitis literacy among tenth-semester Software Engineering students at the University of Guayaquil. Methods: In a controlled pre-test/post-test experiment, 50 participants were randomly assigned to either the GUM game intervention or a traditional lecture. Both groups completed identical knowledge assessments immediately before and after their respective 50-min instructional sessions. The GUM game featured adaptive questioning, immediate elaborated feedback, and comprehensive performance analytics, while the control group received instructor-led didactic instruction with a subsequent question-and-answer session. Results: The GUM group improved from a baseline of 21% to 94% correct responses, while the lecture group increased from 22% to 67% (p<0.001). Error reduction was 74% in the GUM group versus 45% in the control group. However, the study’s scope is currently limited to a single, digitally literate cohort, and knowledge retention over time was not assessed. Conclusions: These findings suggest that a self-directed, feedback-driven serious game can substantially outperform traditional methods in fostering periodontitis literacy within this population. Further research is needed across diverse populations with extended follow-up periods to assess knowledge retention and generalizability. Full article

Digital game-based learning environments (DGBLEs) are increasingly integrated into classrooms as learning tools, yet limited research exists regarding the impact of students’ discrete emotions on digital gameplay performance. This study examined the role of emotions and arousal in predicting performance outcomes during digital gameplay. Thirty-two grade 5 students (Mage = 10.99, 62.5% male) played four digital games (two math; two identically designed non-math). During gameplay, real-time heart rate and affective data were collected and analyzed using an interpretable machine learning approach (XGBoost). Results suggest that students performed better on non-math games, as compared to math games. Real-time anger was associated with lower performance, particularly in games, whereas other emotions and physiological measures were not significant predictors. This pilot investigation suggests that discrete emotions, particularly anger, may play a more important role in performance during math gameplay than in comparable non-math activities. The results highlight the importance of supporting emotional regulation during digital math learning, as unmanaged anger may impact performance. This study contributes to the growing literature on affective dynamics in digital game-based learning. Full article

This study examined associations between problematic Internet use, video game addiction, physical activity, perceived physical fitness, and psychological distress in pre-service teachers. A cross-sectional survey was completed by 404 education students from the University of La Laguna using validated measures (CERI, Vela Test, IPAQ-short, IFIS, GHQ-28). Descriptive, correlational, group-comparison, and binary logistic regression analyses were conducted. The prevalence of video game addiction was low (4%), and problematic Internet use was rare (1%), although 25.3% showed moderate-risk Internet use. Within the small group of students with video game addiction, male students showed relatively higher risk scores; however, this was not significantly associated with physical or emotional well-being. Problematic Internet use was positively associated with psychological distress (r = 0.267, p < 0.001) and poorer physical health indicators. Perceived physical fitness was inversely associated with distress (r = −0.248, p < 0.001) and, together with problematic Internet use, emerged as the strongest predictors with clinically relevant distress (GHQ ≥ 13) in the logistic model. A focus group (n = 4) provided exploratory qualitative insights into participants’ perceptions of digital behaviours, particularly regarding perceived loss of control and its potential associations with academic, physical, and emotional well-being. Financial literacy is critical for individual well-being and sustainable economic development, yet significant gaps remain among Portuguese young adults. Using a two-phase design, this study combines a diagnostic assessment and multi-criteria decision analysis to identify and prioritise effective financial education strategies. In Phase 1, a diagnostic questionnaire administered to 172 first-year university students revealed pronounced deficiencies in core financial concepts. Only 29.1% correctly answered a question on compound interest, and almost half were unable to understand the concept of inflation. Additionally, 62.8% reported low exposure to financial education during compulsory schooling, and 59.9% strongly agreed that it should be included in the mandatory curriculum, indicating both unmet need and strong receptiveness. Phase 2 employed the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate five educational alternatives across four criteria. Engagement and motivation (0.32) and knowledge acquisition (0.31) were prioritised over behavioural impact (0.22) and accessibility (0.15). Based on expert assessments weighted by student preferences, in-person courses emerged as the most effective strategy (0.42), substantially outperforming online courses (0.22), videos and digital content (0.14), books (0.13), and games (0.10). The findings point to the need for policy-driven integration of structured, educator-led financial education within formal curricula, supported by approaches that prioritise active engagement and knowledge acquisition over convenience, with digital tools serving as complements rather than replacements. Background: Technology such as telerehabilitation, virtual reality, robotics, and wearable systems are reshaping pediatric physiotherapy. While evidence remains fragmented, there is little guidance on how these approaches can be integrated into coherent, family-centered care pathways. Objective: To develop the Digital Pediatric Physiotherapy Framework (DPPF) based on a systematic review of randomized evidence on digital interventions in pediatric physiotherapy. Methods: Several databases were searched for randomized trials published after 1 January 2020, including PubMed, Web of Science Core Collection, and Google Scholar. The included studies assessed the results of physiotherapist-delivered or physiotherapist-supervised digital interventions in children and adolescents aged 18 and younger. Population, intervention, outcome, implementation, and safety data were extracted. Considering the substantial heterogeneity of the findings, they were synthesized narratively. Cochrane RoB 2 was used to assess risk of bias, and GRADE was used to evaluate certainty of evidence. Results: Twenty-nine trials involving 1196 participants were included. Most studies examined virtual reality and gaming-based interventions, with fewer evaluating telerehabilitation/tele-exercise and robotic or wearable technologies. Digital interventions were most often directed at body-function and activity-level outcomes, while participation outcomes were less frequently studied. The strongest evidence supported short-term benefits in balance, gross motor function, upper-limb activity, pain, and selected fitness outcomes, particularly in children with cerebral palsy. Evidence for telerehabilitation and robotic or wearable approaches was more limited but generally promising. Implementation, equity, cost, and long-term outcomes were rarely reported. No eligible trial directly evaluated electronic patient-reported outcome measures, digital triage, or clinical decision support as stand-alone interventions. Conclusions: Digital interventions have the potential to strengthen pediatric physiotherapy, particularly for short-term motor and functional outcomes. The proposed DPPF provides an implementation-informed structure to guide future research, pathway design, and more purposeful integration of digital health into pediatric rehabilitation practice. Against the backdrop of a technological revolution centered on green and low-carbon development, the deep integration of digitalization and greening has become a core engine for high-quality progress. Moving beyond linear perspectives of environmental governance, this study constructs tripartite evolutionary game models to dissect the strategic interactions among government, enterprises, and consumers. Focusing on the institutional context of e-commerce, we examine how platform-enabled transparency mechanisms (e.g., blockchain traceability and carbon labeling) shape these interactions through key parameters: greenwashing detection (θ), premium loss coefficient (η), and information screening cost (CD). The analysis reveals that the long-term trajectory is fundamentally determined by the intrinsic economic viability of corporate transformation. Government intervention acts as an equilibrium selector, influencing the speed of convergence, while product value (consumer utility and premium) and platform transparency determine the sustainability of the equilibrium. Critically, the tripartite model shows that the optimal outcome—full enterprise transformation and consumer adoption—can be achieved without sustained government intervention when product fundamentals are sufficiently attractive. This demonstrates the potential for market self-regulation to sustain digital–green synergy. The study makes three contributions: it captures the full tripartite feedback loop, reveals the saturation effect of policy intensity, and embeds platform transparency mechanisms into an evolutionary framework. The findings reframe the government’s role as a temporary enabler and position e-commerce platforms as key governance intermediaries, offering a theoretical basis for adaptive governance strategies in digital commerce. We developed an augmented Sungka board that integrates traditional Filipino gameplay with embedded sensor technology. Each pit is equipped with load cell sensors and HX711 analog-to-digital converters to accurately detect marble distribution and movement in real time. A Raspberry Pi 4 serves as the central controller, handling sensor data acquisition, game state processing, rule enforcement, and output display through a liquid crystal display. The system enables automatic score tracking, move validation, and real-time board updates without altering the physical structure or rules of Sungka. A rule-based decision algorithm using fuzzy logic and heuristic search evaluates possible moves in constant time, allowing seamless real-time interaction. Across 10,000 simulated games, the algorithm achieved win rates of 84.9% against random, 77.7% against greedy, and 56.3% against exact-match strategies, with statistically consistent performance. By combining reliable hardware sensing with intelligent decision support, the proposed system enhances engagement while preserving the cultural authenticity of Sungka. Full article

Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have strengthened the interaction between sports and digital technologies. However, unlike widely studied sports such as football and basketball, handball has received limited attention from the scientific community, despite its fast-paced nature and strategic importance. This study focuses on object detection in handball and targets key entities, such as players, referees, goalkeepers, and the ball. A comprehensive dataset was created through a collaborative annotation process, consisting of annotated images extracted from real handball games. The YOLOv8 model was then trained and evaluated on this dataset to assess its effectiveness in entity recognition. The proposed approach achieved an object detection accuracy of 86.8% on a relatively small held-out test set, providing an indicative first benchmark for the application of state-of-the-art machine learning models to handball. To the best of our knowledge, the dataset generated in this study is the first comprehensive collection of annotated handball images, providing a valuable resource for further research. By bridging sports analytics and computer vision, this study contributes to the advancement of performance assessment in handball. These exploratory results suggest potential directions for future real-time systems and practical applications, such as improved understanding of player performance, team dynamics, and strategic decision-making. While Generative Artificial Intelligence technology empowers content production on user-generated content platforms, it also gives rise to novel risks of disinformation dissemination. The effective governance of these risks is critical to ensuring the cybersecurity of the online ecosystem and maintaining long-term social stability. To address the collaborative governance dilemma, this study constructs a tripartite “platform-user-government” evolutionary game model based on prospect theory. It explores the evolutionarily stable strategies and stability conditions of each actor, supplemented by numerical simulations and practical case validation. The results indicate that: (1) under specific conditions, the system can converge to an ideal equilibrium {active platform governance, engaged user participation, stringent government supervision}; (2) the government’s reward–penalty mechanisms can drive the system towards this ideal equilibrium; (3) users’ digital literacy is a key variable influencing the system’s evolutionary path; (4) both the risk preference coefficient (β) and loss aversion coefficient (λ) from prospect theory have a significant moderating effect on the system’s evolution. Finally, targeted recommendations are proposed for the three aforementioned stakeholders to accelerate the improvement of China’s collaborative governance of the content ecosystem. Full article

Digital urban–rural sharing of social public resources (SPRs) is important for improving resource allocation efficiency and narrowing urban–rural disparities. This study applies a tripartite evolutionary game framework to analyze the strategic interactions among the government sector, the sharing supply side, and the sharing demand side in the digital urban–rural SPR sharing process. A system dynamics (SD) model is further constructed to simulate the dynamic evolution of the system under different initial conditions and parameter settings. The results show that the system generally evolves along a path of government initiation, demand-side response, and supply-side follow-up. Higher collaborative benefits, lower resource transfer costs, stronger government credibility, and appropriately designed subsidies promote active sharing and accelerate convergence toward a high-sharing stable outcome. In contrast, high transfer costs, weak collaborative incentives, and insufficient regulatory credibility inhibit sharing behavior or delay convergence. In addition, different initial cooperation levels mainly affect the convergence speed and fluctuation pattern of the evolutionary process. This study extends the application of the tripartite evolutionary game framework to the digital urban–rural SPR sharing context and combines it with SD simulation to reveal the system’s dynamic evolution mechanism. The findings provide practical implications for promoting digital urban–rural SPR sharing through moderate subsidies, reduced transfer costs, enhanced regulatory credibility, and strengthened collaborative mechanisms.
