Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
In the context of the global environmental crisis and industrial digitalization, sustainable technology management is a vital approach to securing an organization’s long-term competitiveness and creating sustainable value. Particularly as a central pillar of sustainable technology management, ‘green innovation’ has become a growing focus of interest in both practice and academia. Green innovation is viewed not only an environmental initiative, but also as a strategic process that integrates technological progress, resource efficiency, and responsible governance. It is therefore essential to explore how green innovation drives the strategic development of companies across multiple dimensions encompassing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, corporate capacity, and high-quality development (HQD). In doing so, this Special Issue will highlight the strategic importance of aligning green innovation with broader sustainable technology management goals to achieve balanced business, economic, environmental, and social outcomes.
We invite researchers from related fields to submit theoretical or empirical analyses, qualitative or quantitative studies, as well as new methods, models, and techniques from diverse perspectives. Submissions are solicited on a wide variety of topics including, but are not limited to, the following:
- Green innovation as a pillar of sustainable technology management for competitive businesses;
 - Integrating sustainability into innovation and strategic technology management;
 - Impact of sustainable technology management on high-quality development (HQD) and corporate performance;
 - Sustainability and green innovation for strategic development and competitiveness;
 - Green innovations and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance;
 - Digital transformation and green technology applications.
