Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Digital intelligence technologies are vital for sustainable resource management and the transition to a circular economy. By improving resource efficiency, enabling circular business models, and strengthening material flow governance, they help tackle climate risks, supply chain vulnerabilities, and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

This Special Issue explores how digital intelligence can advance sustainable resource management and circular economy governance. It welcomes multidisciplinary research on the mechanisms, applications, and impacts of digital technologies in driving resource circularity. Contributions addressing resource governance and sustainability challenges across industries and regions are encouraged. Scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Digital intelligence technology-driven sustainable supply chain management and circular material governance.
  • Waste valorization, resource recovery, and intelligent waste management systems.
  • Applications of big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain in resource circulation.
  • Climate risks, supply chain resilience, and critical resource security governance.
  • ESG ratings, corporate nature-related disclosure, and digital intelligence governance.
  • Green fiscal and financial policies and their synergy with digital environmental resource governance.
