Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a severe impact on the global supply chain networks. Many industries were physically and financially impacted by the global scaled shutdowns and workforce losses or interruptions. Despite a shortage in global trade in 2020, the total trade value of goods and services has been on the rise in post-pandemic world trade. In this Special Issue, we are inviting both theoretical and application-oriented works which address the pre- vs. post-pandemic issues observed and investigated in broad sustainable supply chain management topics. Works which focus on the relationship between supply chain management and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Industry 4.0, and Digitalization are especially welcome for submission. The following list of topics are considered as the scope of the Special Issue, but relevant topics are also welcome for submission.

The pandemic’s impact on:

- An individual country’s or region’s status of supply chains and logistics;

- Comparative study of multiple countries or regions;

- Industry 4.0 maturity and adoption performance in select industries;

- Economic, environmental, or social footprints;

- Trade regulations and supply chain management practices;

- Make or buy decisions;

- Inventory management practices;

- Supplier selection;

- Supply chain design;

- Strategic decision making in supply chain management;

- Logistics applications.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
