The organizing committee and the event chairs invite you to the 1st Sustainability Section Conference SuSChemE conference that is organized under the auspices of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) and co-hosted by SUSTENS2. The conference will be held between 28-30 June 2026 in Athens (Greece).
On Monday 29 June, the Conference will host its Industrial Day, dedicated to industry perspectives and their supporting innovation ecosystem towards achieving Net Zero targets. The Industrial Day aims to foster networking among participants and to highlight the practical implementation of Sustainability, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence.
The conference venue will be the Royal Olympic Hotel, located in the Athens city center, with a great view of Acropolis. Invited contributions and covers for abstracts come from a wide range of engineers, researchers, and industrial practitioners, setting the basis for publications within several established journals. Conference themes include:
Green and Sustainable Technologies;
Sustainability and Industrial Biotechnology;
Sustainable conversion of power-to-X systems;
AI for sustainability;
Process Engineering and Industrial Applications;
Safe and Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) materials and processes.
