Join us in Austin, Texas for the premiere scientific conference on Vitamin D biology
The Vitamin D Workshop (VDW) is an ongoing international scientific conference series that brings together basic researchers, clinicians, and nutrition experts with interests in the biology and health implications of Vitamin D. VDW2022 kicks off at the Thompson Conference Center on the University of Texas at Austin campus with a Welcome Reception and Plenary Poster session on Tuesday evening September 6, 2022. Scientific sessions will run from Wednesday September 7 through Friday September 9 including invited speakers, promoted oral communications, flash poster talks, and additional poster sessions. Topics to be addressed include vitamin D nutrition, vitamin D receptor genomics and signaling, and vitamin D metabolism and transport. Invited speakers will also address the impact of vitamin D on calcium and bone, immunoregulation, cancer, gut physiology, and the life cycle (pregnancy, development, aging and metabolism).

Registration includes the program book containing all submitted abstracts, entrance to the Welcome Reception and all scientific sessions, and daily continental breakfasts, lunches, and coffee breaks. An optional networking event with Texas-style BBQ and live band will take place on Wednesday evening at the Saxon Pub, a famed Austin music venue.
