Dear Colleagues,
The continuous development of laser technologies has transformed the way advanced nanomaterials are synthesized and processed, establishing laser-based approaches as essential tools in modern nanomaterials research. By enabling precise control over composition, morphology, microstructure, crystallinity, and surface properties, these techniques provide unique opportunities to engineer nanomaterials with tailored functionalities through clean, versatile, and highly controllable fabrication processes. Consequently, laser-assisted approaches continue to drive innovation in fields ranging from biomedicine and catalysis to energy, photonics, sensing, electronics, and advanced manufacturing.
This Special Issue aims to highlight recent advances in laser-assisted synthesis and processing of advanced nanomaterials. We welcome original research articles, communications, and review papers covering both fundamental studies and technological developments related to laser-based fabrication, modification, and functionalization of nanomaterials. Contributions covering experimental, theoretical, and computational studies are equally encouraged.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Nanomaterials is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
