Nanomaterials | Selected Papers on Quantum Dots and Luminescent Nanomaterials


The following collection features 10 selected papers on quantum dots and luminescent nanomaterials recently published in Nanomaterials (ISSN 2079-4991). The researchers explore crystal structure engineering, luminescence modulation, and plasmonic and nonlinear optical phenomena, and demonstrate functional devices for infrared detection, on-chip lighting, and X-ray sensing. Additional studies address nanoparticle luminescence in physiological environments and quantum dot–liquid crystal interactions. Further work will aim to boost material stability and device performance, refine nanofabrication technologies, and accelerate real-world applications in optoelectronics and biomedicine.
