MDPI Open Access—Academic Publishing Workshop at the XVII Reunión del GEC Conference, 21 October 2025
We are pleased to announce that MDPI will host an Open Access—Academic Publishing Workshop during the XVII Reunión del GEC Conference.

Speaker: Dr. Jordi Martínez
This interactive session will cover key aspects of scholarly publishing, with a special focus on ethics in academic publishing and how to reply to reviewer reports. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about publishing with MDPI journals, including Nanomaterials (ISSN: 2079-4991) and C—Journal of Carbon Research (ISSN: 2311-5629). We warmly invite researchers at all stages to join this engaging and practical workshop!

Dr. Jordi Martinez is a nanochemist with over four years of experience in the scientific publishing industry. He joined MDPI in November 2020 and has since held several roles (Assistant Editor, Section Managing Editor, and Publishing Managing). He currently serves as a Journal Relations Specialist for six journals within different fields. In recent years, he has organized and participated in numerous online and in-person meetings with scholars, editorial board meetings and has represented MDPI at several international conferences. |
