Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The advent of immunotherapy has profoundly transformed the landscape of cancer management with a substantial impact on patient care, emphasizing the importance of patient-tailored approaches. This paradigmatic shift brought about by immunotherapy has deeply influenced the management of dermatologic patients, particularly in the melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer fields, offering breakthroughs in treating advanced stages. Furthermore, ongoing trials highlight the continuous evolution of our understanding of immunotherapy's potential. The evidence supporting the efficacy of immunotherapy is still growing, emphasizing the need for continued investigation and research.

We invite colleagues around the world to report their clinical experience with immunotherapy approaches against melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancer, Merkel cell carcinoma, skin adnexal carcinomas, and soft tissue sarcomas. Clinical contributions regarding immunotherapy approaches in skin cancer management, in the format of case reports, case series, reviews, and clinical studies (retrospective and/or prospective), are welcome for this Special Issue.

Thank you for your contribution.

Kind regards,

Prof. Dr. Mauro Salvatore Alessandro Alaibac
Guest Editor
