Dear Colleagues,
With regard to “carbon peak” and “carbon neutralization”, the development of renewable and clean energy sources has become an urgently global requirement. Carbon-based nanomaterials and its applications have attracted increased attentions due to their superiority and the variety of structures, compositions, properties, etc. They have demonstrated excellent performances in a series of fields, such as energy storage, transfer, catalysis, and so on.
This Special Issue focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of advanced carbon-based nanomaterials, such as pure carbon materials, carbon and metal oxide composites, carbon and metal composites, and so on, including their various application in energy application fields. We welcome original papers, short articles, and reviews that report on the fabrication, development, or application of such carbon-based nanomaterials.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Materials is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
