Rare Earth Materials: Advances in Synthesis, Studies and Applications

Dear Colleagues,

The scope of this Special Issue, which is based on the 6^th International Conference on RARE EARTH MATERIALS (REMAT 2024), covers different aspects of novel rare earth materials. In particular, the scope includes the development of synthesis methods of rare earth materials and studies of their fundamental optical, electric, catalytic, magnetic, and other physical properties in view of their applications. The topics of the results summarized in the articles might be related to magnetism in rare-earth-metal-containing compounds; rare-earth-metal-driven optical phenomena; rare earth metals in catalytic processes; rare earth compounds in energy generation and storage materials; the recyclability and sustainable use of rare earth materials; novel applications and uses of rare earth materials; and others.
