Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are currently seeking submissions for this Special Issue, "Smart Monitoring Technologies in Hydraulic Sealing Systems". Our aim is to explore the most recent, cutting-edge developments and innovations in the field of hydraulic sealing systems smart monitoring.
We welcome both review articles and original research that provide theoretical explorations, ground-breaking experimental research, and inventive computational approaches, deepening our understanding of the mechanisms at play at multiple levels. We also encourage the submission of papers discussing novel applications that push the existing boundaries of this field. The scope of this Special Issue includes topics such as intelligent monitoring, hydraulic sealing systems, condition-based maintenance, leakage detection, wireless sensor networks, digital twins, seal failure diagnosis and predictive analytics against the backdrop of industrial intelligence and digitalization. The overall design of sealing monitoring systems for hydraulic systems and their key technologies in different application scenarios are also of interest.
We hope to receive submissions from a diverse range of academics, industry researchers, and practitioners who are contributing to this rapidly evolving field. This is an exciting opportunity for your work to reach a broad audience and for you to engage with others in your field.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Lubricants is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2600 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
