Dear colleagues,
This Special Issue on advances in tissue injury and regeneration/repair will collect research articles or reviews concerning the injury mechanisms of important human tissues and organs (for example, the heart, liver, lung, etc.) as well as the functional remodeling process after injury, especially focusing on the immune microenvironment formed by immune cells, such as macrophages, innate lymphoid cells, T cells, and so on. Of course, work on other immune cells or molecule-mediated damage and repair is also encouraged.
We invite suggestions for manuscripts to be included in this Special Issue. Please contact the editor before preparing a manuscript for a prearrangement of the topic.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Life is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
