Artificial Intelligence in the Life Sciences

A section of Life (ISSN 2075-1729).

Section Information

Artificial intelligence (AI) has experienced rapid growth over the past few years, moving from the experimental to the implementation phase in various fields, and has brought about disruptive transformations in academic research.

To keep pace with the AI-driven paradigm shifts in the life sciences, Life establishes this Section to bridge the gap between AI technology and life science research, as well as to provide a high-quality academic exchange platform for researchers worldwide.

We encourage the submission of manuscripts that report significant advances in those fields. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • AI-driven life sciences research;
  • AI in biomedical research;
  • AI in biomedical research;
  • AI applications in pharmaceutical science;
  • AI applications in synthetic biology and systems biology;
  • AI for ecological and evolutionary biology;
  • Ethical and safety issues related to AI applications in the life sciences.
