Dear Colleagues,
Organized by City University Ajman, the International e-Conference on Business Excellence and Quality Management in the Digital Era (ICBEQM-2023) was held virtually on 27-28 February 2023.
The conference's primary goal is to bring together academics, practitioners, and students working in the wide topic of business excellence and quality management. Participants at the frontline of the field are expected to reflect on current open issues and pertinent challenges and to suggest routes for future study. It is envisaged that the interaction of theory and practice, as well as concerns of knowledge dissemination and pedagogy in this subject, would be critically explored.
The conference will cover a wide range of topics related to business excellence and quality management, with a particular emphasis on disruption caused by technological transformation. Topics to be covered include:
- Performance measurement techniques
- Competitive strategies and business excellence
- Total quality management and organizational effectiveness
- Strategic alliances based on core competencies
- Productivity and quality improvement strategies/standards
- Measures/metrics, benchmarking, and best practices

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Journal of Risk and Financial Management is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
