Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Laparoscopic surgery, also known as minimally invasive surgery, has revolutionized the field of cancer treatment in recent years. This advanced surgical technique offers numerous benefits over traditional open surgery, including smaller incisions, reduced blood loss, shorter recovery times, and lower risks of complications. As a result, laparoscopic surgery is increasingly being utilized in the management of a wide range of cancers.
This Special Issue will focus on the expanding role of laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of cancer, showcasing the latest advancements, challenges, and outcomes associated with this innovative approach. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, laparoscopic approaches for the staging and resection of tumors, robotic‐assisted laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and adjuvant therapy delivery.
We invite researchers and experts in the field to contribute original research articles or reviews that showcase the efficacy and safety of laparoscopic techniques in the management of various types of cancer. We aim to showcase the potential of laparoscopic techniques in improving patient outcomes and revolutionizing the way that cancer is managed.
