Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Maxillofacial surgery has undergone significant advancements in recent years, driven by innovations in surgical techniques, imaging technologies, biomaterials, and regenerative medicine. However, several clinical and academic challenges remain unresolved. Key issues such as the prediction and management of postoperative complications, the balance between function and aesthetics, and the standardization of digital technologies continue to require multidisciplinary exploration and evidence-based solutions.

The Special Issue titled "New Insights in Maxillofacial Surgery" aims to bring together cutting-edge research and clinical innovations that go beyond conventional boundaries. By highlighting emerging technologies, novel methodologies, and insightful case studies, this Special Issue will serve as a platform for fostering knowledge exchange between clinicians, researchers, and allied health professionals. It will offer a fresh perspective and contribute to shaping the future of maxillofacial surgery.

This Special Issue welcomes a wide range of contributions that tackle the core challenges of modern maxillofacial surgery. The focus is not only on technological advancement but also on its clinical relevance and real-world applications.
