Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to submit scientific contributions for a current special issue of the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) entitled: “Vertebral Fractures and Spinal Cord Injury: Advances in Management.”

The field of spinal surgery has seen tremendous advances in recent years—both in terms of minimally invasive techniques, robot-assisted navigation, new implant systems, and a deeper understanding of pathophysiological mechanisms. These developments are leading to improved patient safety, optimized functional outcomes, and shorter rehabilitation times.

With this special issue, we would like to provide a scientific forum for the publication of current clinical and experimental work and review articles on the following topics:

  • Fracture management–techniques and results of modern treatments;
  • Spinal cord injuries–understanding, clinical improvements, and future potential;
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning–their role in preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, and postoperative rehabilitation of fractures;
  • Spinal trauma–new treatment strategies for the treatment of fractures;

We invite you to submit your latest research findings and comprehensive reviews and thus actively contribute to the further development of this dynamic field.
