Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Of all the areas in the field medicine, the brain is perhaps one of the most revered organs, as it is the command center for the body. Any injury to the brain, whether from trauma or disease, profoundly impacts the patient. Indeed, stroke afflicts more than 12 million people worldwide, with more than 1.9 million neurons lost for every minute the brain experiences a stroke, while brain injury affects millions of people worldwide.

In this Special Issue, we welcome papers with a cerebrovascular focus, specifically as they relate to stroke and brain injury in terms of outcomes, prognosis, and treatment. We welcome all types of academic papers, including clinical registries, clinical trials, survey reports, and systematic or scoping reviews.
