Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue titled “Research Advances in Coagulation Disorders” will focus on recent breakthroughs in the field of coagulation disorders, including hemophilia, thrombophilia, and other bleeding or clotting disorders. We aim to bring together cutting-edge research on the mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment strategies of these disorders, emphasizing both basic science and clinical advances. Particular attention will be given to timely and emerging topics, such as gene therapy for hemophilia, new anti-XI and anti-XII molecules for venous thrombosis, and the latest evidence on the interaction between the immune system and thrombosis. Additionally, this issue will explore advances in the understanding of thrombotic microangiopathies, including their pathophysiology, diagnostic challenges, and novel therapeutic approaches. Contributions may include novel insights into the genetic, molecular, and cellular processes involved in coagulation, as well as new therapeutic approaches or innovative diagnostic tools. This Special Issue will highlight the interdisciplinary nature of coagulation research, incorporating studies from immunology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. We invite authors to submit high-quality research that will enhance the understanding and management of coagulation disorders, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
