Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Recent advancements in diagnostic criteria for vestibular disorders—such as those proposed by the Bárány Society—have significantly improved diagnostic clarity. Nevertheless, clinical management remains challenging due to diagnostic ambiguities, heterogeneous symptom presentations, and suboptimal adherence to treatment protocols.

Effective management extends beyond pharmacologic and surgical interventions; it requires the integration of physical therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and cognitive–behavioral strategies. Emerging technologies, including virtual reality and AI-based systems, also play a critical role in enhancing therapeutic outcomes and represent an important area of innovation.

This Special Issue aims to address the core challenges in translating diagnostic accuracy into optimized patient care. We welcome original research, systematic reviews, and interdisciplinary management, personalized therapy planning, and technological innovations such as device-assisted or AI-supported interventions.

Our goal is to provide readers with an integrated perspective on current and emerging strategies for managing vestibular disorders, with a focus on adaptability across diverse healthcare settings and patient populations.
