Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Laser dentistry has become a transformative tool in modern dental practice, providing precise, minimally invasive treatment options that improve patient comfort and clinical outcomes. Its ability to selectively target both hard and soft tissues allows for enhanced control during procedures, reduced bleeding and inflammation, faster healing, and fewer complications. These advantages make lasers invaluable in a range of specialties, including periodontology, endodontics, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry.
This Special Issue, titled “Clinical Advances in Laser Dentistry: Emerging Therapeutic Concepts”, invites original research, clinical studies, and reviews on lasers, LEDs, photodynamic therapy, and photobiomodulation.
We encourage submissions exploring light–tissue interactions, biomaterial integration, regenerative therapies, and innovative clinical protocols. By advancing understanding in biophotonics and laser applications, this issue aims to elevate both the science and practice of laser dentistry for improved therapeutic outcomes.
