Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue aims to highlight recent progress in the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), a malignancy with distinct epidemiological, biological, and clinical features. Despite improvements in imaging and radiotherapy techniques, challenges remain in the early detection, risk stratification, and management of recurrent or metastatic disease. The core problems to be addressed include limited biomarkers for accurate screening, the optimization of combined therapeutic strategies, and the need for novel targeted and immunotherapeutic approaches.
The scope of this Special Issue encompasses original research, clinical studies, and reviews focusing on diagnostic innovations, prognostic indicators, radiotherapy advancements, systemic therapy developments, and the integration of personalized medicine into NPC care.
Researchers, clinicians, and translational scientists are invited to contribute work that advances understanding and fosters multidisciplinary solutions, ultimately aiming to improve patient outcomes and shape future standards of care in NPC management.
