Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In the last 7–8 years, there were great technical and theoretical advancements in endovascular stroke treatment due to an increase in the number of procedures, improvements in devices, and different approaches.

Endovascular stroke treatment results are always a challenge for interventional neuroradiologists!

This special issue aims to better understand new technical approaches and new devices and to cross these fields to improve outcomes in patients with endovascular stroke treatment.

In summary, my idea is to produce, with your experience and knowledge, these arguments in different papers:

  • Approaches for ICA TE (thromboembolic occlusion).
  • Approaches for DMVO.
  • Approaches for tandem occlusion.
  • Rescue stenting and ICAD: medical management and endovascular approaches.
  • Advancements in medical management in EVT.
  • Advancement in Thromboaspiration-ADAPT technique.
  • Advancement in SR-Thrombectomy technique.

I am hoping to involve many passionate colleagues in our Special Issue.
