Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Gliomas represent one of the most challenging groups of brain tumors, characterized by significant heterogeneity, aggressive progression, and limited therapeutic outcomes. This special edition, “Clinical and Diagnostic Strategies for Glioma Treatment”, brings together cutting-edge research, clinical trials, and expert reviews to highlight current advances and emerging approaches in glioma management.

The collection explores a spectrum of clinical strategies, from precision surgical interventions and advanced neuroimaging techniques to innovations in radiotherapy planning and the evolution of systemic therapies. A strong focus is placed on molecular and genetic profiling, which continues to refine glioma classification and guide personalized treatment decisions. Articles within this issue also examine the clinical translation of novel immunotherapies, targeted agents, and combination regimens designed to overcome treatment resistance and improve patient survival.

In addition to therapeutic innovations, this edition addresses the importance of multidisciplinary care, patient quality of life, and the integration of artificial intelligence in diagnostic and prognostic modeling. Together, these contributions reflect a comprehensive overview of the evolving clinical landscape and underscore the ongoing shift toward individualized, biology-driven treatment paradigms in glioma care.

Through this Special Issue, we aim to foster dialogue between researchers, clinicians, and translational scientists, promoting collaborative efforts to advance outcomes for patients facing this formidable disease.
