Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The field of vascular surgery continues to evolve rapidly, driven by technological innovations, refined patient selection criteria, and a growing emphasis on long-term functional outcomes. This Special Issue aims to explore the evolving paradigms in vascular surgical care, encompassing both open and endovascular approaches.

Recent advances have highlighted the complex interplay between demographic factors, anatomical considerations, and comorbidities in determining surgical outcomes. More findings are needed to reshape preoperative assessment and procedural selection. Simultaneously, new technologies in terms of imaging, biomaterials, and minimally invasive approaches are expanding the therapeutic possibilities.

For this Special Issue, we invite the submission of original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and clinical studies that address these critical areas. Contributions may explore topics ranging from basic science breakthroughs to clinical implementation challenges, with particular interest in work that bridges the gap between technological innovation and improved patient outcomes.
