10th Anniversary
The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of The International Journal of Neonatal Screening, a peer-reviewed open access journal on all topics related to newborn screening. With an Impact Factor of 4.0 and a CiteScore of 6.7, the journal is covered in Scopus, ESCI (Web of Science), PubMed, PMC, Embase, and other databases. The journal has published more than 500 papers from more than 2000 authors. More than 400 reviewers have reviewed the journal at least once. We equally value the contributions made by our editors, authors, and reviewers.

Journal History

The inaugural issue was released. The International Journal of Neonatal Screening (IJNS) was published as a quarterly journal.
The International Society for Neonatal Screening (ISNS) partnered with MDPI for the launch of IJNS.

Dr. Ralph Fingerhut was appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of the IJNS.
