Dear Colleagues,
Hypertension is the most common condition of our time, affecting more than 1.5 billion people worldwide. After many years of progress, the availability of new technologies and therapeutic advances have greatly stimulated new research activities in the field of hypertension, and the scientific outlook in the field of hypertension now looks much brighter.
The purpose of this Special Issue is to collate the most recent progress and developments in hypertension research. Original research articles and reviews are welcome as a part of this Special Issue. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Blood pressure variability, CV imaging in hypertension, and natriuretic peptides in hypertension;
- New endothelin receptor antagonists, aldosterone synthase inhibitors, combination therapy, siRNA therapeutic approaches, and ARNI.
