Artificial Intelligence and Data Science-Driven Biomarker Discovery in Neurodegenerative Diseases

Dear Colleagues,

Artificial Intelligence-based methods such as Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing like Large Language Models are rapidly becoming novel transformative technologies for diagnosis and biomarker discovery for various diseases. They are capable of medical text analyses of extensive patient data and all medical literature, image recognition and the identification of patterns in patients’ symptoms and their biomedical omics-data (genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, glycomics, etc.) and clinical data. This Special Issue, “Artificial Intelligence and Data Science-Driven Biomarker Discovery in Neurodegenerative Diseases”, will cover a selection of original and review articles on Artificial Intelligence-based methods in application to the diagnosis, biomarker discovery and drug development for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.

Manuscript Submission Information

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
