Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
All dental specialists nowadays use modern technologies, which has changed work procedures, dental care, and patient therapies in recent years. The primary objectives of this technological revolution are to enhance diagnosis, shorten operating times, and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of care in both private clinics and public health. While some dental technologies are now in use and widely used by dentists around the world, others are still in the early stages of development and will become commonplace within the next few years.
The most recent major advancements in prosthodontics, implant dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, conservative and restorative dentistry, and endodontics will be the emphasis of this Special Issue. The following elements will be covered by the issue's scope:
- CAD-CAM and 3D printing materials and workflows;
- Intra-oral scanners and facial scanners;
- Cone Beam Computed Tomography and new technologies for diagnosis;
- Transillumination digital imaging;
- Lasers;
- Digital Guided Surgery
