Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Blockchain technology has many benefits and has been used to solve a variety of problems in different application domains. The goal of this special issue is to encourage researchers to publish their high quality original research related to the potential and applications of blockchain for Fifth Generation (5G) and beyond networks. We invite authentic and unpublished articles that uses blockchain technology to enhance the security, privacy, network management in 5G and beyond network architectures and achieve decentralization. The submitted papers must clearly state what research problem will be solved if blockchain and 5G and beyond networks are integrated.

Potential topics for the special issue include but are not limited to-

  • Blockchain for UAV
  • Blockchain for Intelligent 5G networks
  • Maintaining privacy in blockchain enabled 5G networks
  • Integration of Blockchain with 5G for industrial applications
  • Preserving privacy by using Blockchain for 5G enabled drones
  • Ensuring Security for a Blockchain enabled 5G IoT
