Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Oral and maxillofacial tumors, alongside salivary gland diseases, present complex challenges in clinical oncology and head and neck surgery. Recent years have witnessed significant shifts in the diagnostic paradigms and surgical management of these diverse pathologies, ranging from benign salivary gland lesions to highly aggressive malignancies like squamous cell carcinoma and ameloblastic carcinoma.
This Special Issue, "Advances in Oral and Maxillofacial Tumors and Salivary Gland Diseases," aims to highlight the latest clinical and translational breakthroughs in the field. We invite original research and comprehensive reviews exploring novel prognostic biomarkers, advanced imaging techniques, precision surgical interventions (such as intraoperative facial nerve monitoring) and personalized therapeutic strategies. Ultimately, this collection seeks to foster multidisciplinary collaboration and provide evidence-based insights to improve early detection, minimize surgical complications and enhance the overall prognosis and quality of life for patients.
