Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue aims to present recent advances in diagnostic and interventional radiology in urology, particularly regarding renal and adrenal masses. The impressive refinements in diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in this field make this a topic of the utmost importance. Original research articles and case series that highlight the results of advanced techniques to better characterize morphological and functional features of renal and adrenal masses are welcome, especially those focusing on the technological advancement of imaging, post-processing and interventional techniques.

Reviews articles (narrative reviews, systematic reviews and metanalysis) are welcome, and research with the aim of providing comprehensive knowledge on cutting-edge imaging techniques and minimally invasive treatment approaches will be considered for publication.

Lastly, articles on the potential role of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data and on their future perspectives may be considered for publication in this Special Issue.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Diagnostics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2600 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
