Travel Award

The Colloids and Interfaces Travel Award was launched in 2020 with the aim of encouraging junior scientists to present their latest research at academic conferences in the field of colloids and interfaces, which helps to grow their profile. The application process is open from February to December, and winners are announced by February 2026.

The Prize:
– CHF 800;
– A certificate.

Eligibility and Requirements

– Postdoctoral fellows or PhD students;
– Plans to attend an international conference in 2026 (oral presentation or poster).

List of Documents for Application

– Information of the conference the applicant is planning to attend and the abstract that will be submitted;
– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max. 800 words);
– Letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head, which also confirms the applicant’s status as a postdoctoral fellow/PhD student.
