Neonatal Clinical Pharmacology

On Friday, 5 May 2023, MDPI and the journal Children organized a webinar entitled "Neonatal Clinical Pharmacology". The webinar focused on the pharmacotherapy of newborns.

Prof. Dr. Karel Allegaert first introduced the limited size and extensive variability of neonatal clinical pharmacology. Dr. Robert B. Flint and Dr. Nadir Yalcin showed us new emerging tools that may facilitate the improvement of pharmacotherapy, for both pharmacokinetics (model-informed precision dosing) and -dynamics (machine learning to improve drug–drug interaction or adverse drug reaction recognition), and both approaches are subsequently discussed in the webinar to show ways and approaches for future progress.

Please note that this webinar is associated with a Special Issue in Children entitled “Neonatal Clinical Pharmacology”. The deadline is 25 August 2023.
