Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The construction industry is currently undergoing a significant transformation driven by the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” and the urgent demand for sustainable development. This Special Issue, “Construction and Building Technology: Latest Advances and Prospects”, provides a platform for researchers to explore innovative solutions reshaping the built environment. We are pleased to invite submissions concerning digital transformation, specifically building information modeling (BIM), digital twins, VR/AR/MR, and the construction industrial internet. The scope encompasses advanced methodologies such as prefabricated buildings, construction automation and robotics, and the application of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, this Special Issue addresses sustainable construction practices through the use of smart building materials and energy efficiency strategies. Contributions focusing on lifecycle performance and safety via structural health monitoring are also highly encouraged to highlight the future trends of the sector.

Warm regards,

Dr. Sha Liu
