Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue is dedicated to the first international conference in Africa–Europe related to TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS FOR HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE FOOD, which will be held on 15–16 November in Rabat, Morrocco.

The Special Issue concerns recent technology and research innovations for food safety and emerging biotechnology for waste valorization. It will include the valorization of natural resources such as Biopolymers and bioactive Molecules when designing intelligent and bioactive packaging that can track food quality and prevent contamination during foods’ shelf life. It will cover emerging technology in food safety and recent research in analytical devices, including point of use, wearables, and connected devices. Biotechnologies for the bio-preservation and bio-remediation of food are also important aspects that will covered.
