2016 Indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI—Web of Science). First online Editorial Board meeting was held. Biosensors announced the first edition of the Travel Awards.
2017 Biosensors received its first CiteScore of 2.83.
2019 Biosensors was indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE—Web of Science);
Biosensors received its new CiteScore of 3.57 for the year 2018, which ranks 18/113 in the category of “Clinical Biochemistry”

Biosensors received its first Impact Factor of 3.240 for the year 2019.
Biosensors received a CiteScore of 4.4 for the year 2019.
Biosensors adopted a monthly publication schedule from 2020.
The year 2020 marked as 10th Anniversary of Biosensors.

Biosensors received a CiteScore of 5.4 for the year of 2020, which ranks 38/113 in the category of “Clinical Biochemistry”
