Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Chronic enteropathy (CE) in dogs is believed to be caused by a combination of various factors, but the pathogenesis is not fully understood and some cases are resistant to general treatment. This Special Issue aims to summarize the current status and future challenges of chronic enteropathy in dogs.

The latest findings and future challenges in the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis in dogs with CE will be discussed, alongside what we know so far and what we will learn in the future, such as dietary and nutritional approaches, metabolomic profiles, microRNA expression, fecal microbiome and treatment for transplantation, treatment with mesenchymal stem cells, and so on.
