2020	The inaugural issue was released. Surgeries was published as a quarterly journal.
2022	The Academy of Surgical Research (ASR) became affiliated to Surgeries.
2023	Surgeries was indexed in Scopus—Elsevier, starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2024	Surgeries was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2025	Surgeries established the following section: Hand Surgery and Research. The Italian Society of Hand Surgery (SICM) became affiliated to Surgeries.
