Cover Story: In recent years, a complex set of dynamic developments, driven both by the economy and by the rise of digital technologies, has put pressure on manufacturing companies to adapt. Due to the increasing use of digital technologies and changing demands, the concept of servitization and its dimensions are worth transferring to the production context and internal processes. In order to adequately address the high level of complexity and interdependencies, a holistic view is recommended, which should encompass six different design areas in the overarching fields of people, technology and organisation. View this paper
