- A single power-law fit extends from H to high-Z elements (Events 3 and 4 in Figure 5). This is seen for many small impulsive SEP1 events.

- A large proton excess, sometimes including an enhancement in 4He, with an associated fast CME, that shows a clear SEP2 event, with a fast CME-driven shock (Event 92 in Figure 6) that accelerates ions from both seed populations.
