Cover Story: This paper presents a conceptual exploration of the intersection between the Quality of Life Supports Model (QOLSM) and the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD), with a specific focus on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). By establishing this connection, the paper emphasizes the significance of measuring the rights of people with IDD, underscoring the importance of their inclusion and empowerment. To facilitate the recognition and communication of rights for individuals with IDD, the #Rights4MeToo Scale is introduced as a valuable tool. By emphasizing the interplay between the QOLSM, CRPD, and the #Rights4MeToo Scale, the paper contributes to advancing the rights and quality of life for people with IDD, while guiding future research and informing best practices in the field.
