I found this manuscript to be scientifically sound, however would advise some minor editing of grammar and vocabulary.

The study addresses a critical problem and provides very useful and relevant information. The study was well conducted and analyzed and the discussion elaborated on very important questions raised by the study such as registration of products as residue removers and the safety of breakdown products. One point that I think should be mentioned in terms of the use of organisms is the use of known antibiotic producers, such as Streptomycin. I believe registration would not be possible for such organisms on produce due to their interference with medically-used antibiotics, and their potential impact on the natural, beneficial microflora. Otherwise, I enjoyed reading the manuscript very much and believe it will extensively read and cited, though Agronomy is not the main publication where research on such topics are published, so it will take time for the research community to become aware of the study.

We agree with the reviewers comment on draw backs at use of microorganisms. We aditionaly elaborated the concerns related to use of microbial preparations close to harvest and mentioned the problem of acceleration of development of resistance to antibiotics in bacteria pathogenic in humens.
